He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and attained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential in 1992. Bill has also earned the specialist designation 'Personal Financial Specialist' from the AICPA. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners.
James earned a BBS with a major in Accounting from University of Houston, Clear Lake in 1985. He has been a member of the firm since 1996. His areas of expertise include tax compliance, personal & corporate tax preparation and trust tax planning. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Nancy earned a BBA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1993. She has been a member of the firm since graduation. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Nancy specializes in assisting new practitioners establish their accounting systems and controls.
Wayne earned a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University in 1971. He has been a member of the Langley, O'Grady & Associates accounting team since 1982. Prior to joining the firm, Wayne served as a Controller for a large oil field equipment manufacturer.
Ross has participated in 3 summer internships and returned to the Firm as a full-time employee in the summer of 2006. Previously, he served as an audit and assurance associate from 2004-2006 at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He earned a Master in Professional Accounting degree as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Sandy earned a BBA in Accounting with a minor in European Studies from the University of Houston in 2000. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates, she worked for more than twenty years in other Houston accounting firms which specialized in medical practices as well as small corporate clients.
Christy earned a BBA in Financial Services and Planning and Real Estate with a minor in Music from Baylor University in 2005. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates, she worked in mutual fund and insurance sales as a licensed sales representative.
Gabriela earned her BBA and certification in accounting from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA) of Mexico in 1997. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates, she worked for 9 years as Director of Financial Operations for a large medical practice in Houston. Gabriela specializes in medical management, vendor relations, and accounting.
John earned a BBA in accounting from University of St. Thomas in 2009. He joined the firm in June 2009 shortly after graduating and has several years experience with tax and accounting firms in the Houston area as well as experience with a Fortune 500 company and non-profits.
Laura earned a BA degree in English from Colgate University in 1980. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates, she was a member of the accounting department for a large integrated energy company. She has been a member of the firm since November 2004.
Valerie earned a degree in French from Robert Schuman College in Metz, France. She moved to the US in 1992. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates in September 2006 she worked as a Sales Coordinator for a French aerospace part manufacturer near Seattle, WA, and as an Office Assistant for an engineering group in Upstate NY.
Kimberly earned a BS degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates, she served as a corporate staffing recruiter.
Toni has been a member of the firm since 1970. She serves as Executive Assistant to Mr. Langley and provides significant client and administrative support. Prior to joining Langley, O'Grady & Associates, she served as a legal secretary for a Midland, Texas law firm.
